L’H.E. Dr Harrison Okoh ambasciatore degli International Peace Advocates (F.36 Peace and Unity), Associazione Internazionale degli Avvocati impegnati per la Pace e l’Unità nel mondo,
hanno accolto nell’Associazione internazionale, col ruolo di ambasciatrice onoraria per l’Italia, la scrittrice Giovanna Mulas, già premiata nel mondo (in all. ph.) e impegnata per la difesa dei diritti umani.

“Voglio ringraziare pubblicamente, commossa, e anche tramite queste mie Pagine Ufficiali,
l’H.E. Amb. Harrison Okoh degli International Peace Advocates (F.36 Peace and Unity), Associazione internazionale di Avvocati impegnati per la Pace e l’Unità nel mondo,
che hanno scelto di onorare la mia persona quindi il mio lavoro riconoscendomi questo pregiato Titolo.
Amici Lettori, Fratelli di Cammino, lasciatemi dire: è incredibile come la storia si ripeta, ciclicamente, nel mettere in guardia un uomo che non è sempre in grado di coglierne le sfumature. Come una madre severa a dirCi: “Stai attento, il terreno è scivoloso. Qui hai già sbagliato e sei caduto. Potresti cadere di nuovo e non riuscire più ad alzarti… .
“…Vennero i comunisti.| E non ho parlato perché non ero un comunista. || Quindi sono venuti per gli ebrei, | e non ho parlato perché non ero ebreo. || Poi vennero per i sindacalisti e io non parlai perché non ero un sindacalista. || Quindi vennero per i cattolici | e non parlai perché ero protestante. || Infine vennero per me | e non era rimasto nessuno che potesse alzare la voce”, scrisse Martin Niemöller sull’atteggiamento lassista verso i nazisti.
Ora, nonostante quella che continuo a considerare una vergognosa accoglienza, da parte dei principali organismi europei, ai fratelli migranti; accoglienza dimentica del nostro triste passato migratorio, c’è da dire che l’Italia, in particolare, è uno dei paesi dell’Unione Europea che più necessita dei migranti: qui la popolazione invecchia, le nascite sono ai minimi storici. Ancora mi vengono in mente i versi di Dante: “Lascerai tutto ciò che ami di più”, testimonianza di un’antica consapevolezza; quella del tormento di coloro che sono costretti dal destino a vivere lontano dalla loro terra. Ma il migrante non è IL problema; il migrante è la vittima del problema. Mi domando quanti muri un uomo può alzare per dividere, allontanarsi, ‘separarsi’ da altri uomini. Credete davvero che barriere, controlli, violenza e vergogna siano sufficienti per distruggere ideologie e culture?. La cattiva accoglienza riservata agli stranieri, escludendoli dai diritti sociali, civili e politici significa un Muro di vergogna: si nega la loro esistenza come esseri umani.
È necessario pianificare forme di aiuto allo sviluppo e riconversione economica a favore dei paesi che misurano una maggiore espulsione degli esseri umani. Non un assistenzialismo offensivo, ma un problema affrontato alla radice.
In realtà si teme ciò che non si conosce: ecco perché vedo essenziale lavorare costantemente sulla cultura della popolazione, stordita da messaggi sbagliati, da superficialità, formattata all’individualismo. La bellezza dell’Arte, l’interazione continua con altre culture e la conoscenza sono in grado -historia docet- di sensibilizzare l’anima umana, portata alla bellezza e per sua Natura. Ogni uomo ha in sé una parte oscura della quale percepisce la forza e la teme. Dobbiamo penetrare quelle nebbie: risalirne incolumi è forse l’unico compito dell’uomo perché Uomo, Qui ed Ora. Superare ciò che è temuto ché sconosciuto, liberare la mente da false concezioni, in modo da poter ricevere una delle tante Verità; su tutte quella riconosciuta, perché suggerita dall’istinto.
Bypassare l’ignoto e farlo proprio significa domarlo, uscire dalla Caverna alla ricerca dell’autentico sole, piegare le intime paure -come quelle legate ad altri uomini uguali- in modo che si trasformino in una spada di saggezza. E laddove la conoscenza non arriva, lo fa l’immaginazione. Fratelli di Luce: qual è il mezzo più espressivo di un Dio -il tuo Dio o il mio, comunque lo stesso- se non pura immaginazione?. Mantenere pulito lo specchio della tua mente significa vedere questo dono riflesso, in tutto il suo vergine potere.
Ma è necessario, prima, affacciarsi all’abisso per guardare la nostra bestia interiore; stessa parte di stessa medaglia, fondamentale per comprendere l’equivalente (non esisterebbe il bene senza il male, non ci sarebbe la guerra senza una pace), necessaria all’intero andamento del meccanismo universale. Dobbiamo domarla e sovente, sappiamo, non è sufficiente un’esistenza, per riuscire a farlo. Comprendendoci capiremo; amandoci, ameremo.
Grazie ancora, di cuore, per esserVi uniti a questo mio percorso, a questa strada infinita sulla quale la stessa Storia dell’Umanità ci ha posati:
strada lunga, dolorosa,
meravigliosa come meraviglioso è l’Uomo nelle sue infinite, e ancora sconosciute, potenzialità.

I am deeply moved. Brothers: it is incredible how history repeats itself, cyclically, to act as a warning for a man who is not always able to grasp its nuances; as a strict mother to say: “be careful, the ground is mined. Here you were wrong and you fell. You could fall again, and hurt yourself more … “.| and I didn’t speak because I wasn’t a communist. || So they came for the Jews, | and I didn’t speak because I wasn’t a Jew. || So they came for the unionists and I didn’t speak because I wasn’t a trade unionist. || So they came for the Catholics, | and I didn’t speak because I was a Protestant. || So they came for me | and at that point there was no one left who could raise his voice. “, wrote Martin Niemöller on the lax attitude towards the Nazis.
Despite what I continue to consider shameful welcome, from the main European Bodies, to migrant brothers, a welcome that is forgetful of our sad migratory past; Italy, specifically, is one of the countries of the European Union that needs migrants the most: its population ages, births are at an all-time low. Dante’s verses come to mind: ‘You will leave everything beloved more dearly’, testimony to an ancient awareness, that of the torment of those who are forced by fate to live far from their land. The migrant is not THE problem, the migrant is the victim of the problem. I wonder how many walls a man can pull up to divide, move away, ‘separate’ from other men. Do you really believe that barriers, controls, violence and shame are enough to destroy ideologies and cultures? The bad reception that is reserved for foreigners, excluding them from social, civil and political rights means a Wall of Shame, denying their existence as human beings. It is necessary to plan forms of development aid and economic reconversion in favor of countries that measure greater expulsion of human beings. Not offensive welfare, but a problem faced at the root. In reality, what is unknown is feared; that’s why I believe it is essential to constantly work on culture on the population, dazed by wrong messages, by superficiality, brought up by individualism. The Beauty of Art, the journey of and in knowledge are able to sensitize the human soul brought to beauty and by its nature. Every man has in himself a dark part of which he perceives the strength, and fears it. Penetrating those mists, and going up unscathed, perhaps is man’s only task: to overcome what is unknown, free the mind from false conceptions so that one can receive one of the many truths; of all, the one recognized because suggested by instinct. To overcome the Unknown and to make it one’s own means to tame the unknown, to bend fears so that they become strength, and where knowledge does not arrive, imagination does so … Brothers of Light: What is the most expressive means of a God, Your God, or mine, if not pure imagination ?. Keeping the mirror of your mind clean means seeing this gift reflected in all its virgin power. But it is important to appear to look at your inner beast, to tame it, and often an existence is not enough to do it. By understanding each other we will understand, loving each other, we will love. Thank you very much for joining me on this path in which the history of humanity has put us: long, difficult, wonderful road.

Je suis profondément ému. Frères: il est incroyable de voir comment l’histoire se répète, cycliquement, pour servir d’avertissement à un homme qui n’est pas toujours capable de saisir ses nuances; comme une mère stricte pour dire: «attention, le sol est miné. Tu pourrais tomber à nouveau et te blesser davantage … “. | Et je n’ai pas parlé parce que je n’étais pas communiste. || Alors ils sont venus pour les Juifs, | et je n’ai pas parlé parce que je n’étais pas un Juif. || Alors ils sont venus pour les syndicalistes et je n’ai pas parlé parce que je n’étais pas syndicaliste. || Alors ils sont venus pour les catholiques, | et je n’ai pas parlé parce que j’étais protestante. || Alors ils sont venus pour moi | et à ce moment-là, il ne restait plus personne pour élever la voix “, a écrit Martin Niemöller sur l’attitude laxiste envers les nazis. Malgré ce que je continue de considérer comme un accueil honteux, des principaux organes européens, aux frères migrants, un accueil qui oublie notre triste passé migratoire; L’Italie, en particulier, est l’un des pays de l’Union européenne qui a le plus besoin de migrants: sa population vieillit, les naissances sont à un niveau record. Les vers de Dante me viennent à l’esprit: «Tu laisseras tout ce que tu aimes plus cher», témoignage d’une conscience ancienne, celle du tourment de ceux qui sont contraints par le destin de vivre loin de leur terre. Le migrant n’est pas LE problème, le migrant est la victime du problème. Je me demande combien de murs un homme peut tirer pour se diviser, s’éloigner, «se séparer» des autres hommes. Croyez-vous vraiment que les barrières, les contrôles, la violence et la honte suffisent à détruire les idéologies et les cultures? La mauvaise réception réservée aux étrangers, les excluant des droits sociaux, civils et politiques signifie un mur de la honte, niant leur existence en tant qu’êtres humains. Il est nécessaire de planifier des formes d’aide au développement et de reconversion économique en faveur des pays qui mesurent une plus grande expulsion des êtres humains. Pas un bien-être offensant, mais un problème rencontré à la racine. En réalité, ce qui est inconnu est redouté; c’est pourquoi je pense qu’il est essentiel de travailler constamment sur la culture de la population, étourdie par les mauvais messages, par la superficialité, soulevée par l’individualisme. La Beauté de l’Art, le voyage de et dans la connaissance sont capables de sensibiliser l’âme humaine portée à la beauté et par sa nature. Tout homme a en lui une partie sombre dont il perçoit la force et la redoute. Pénétrer ces brumes et remonter indemne est peut-être la seule tâche de l’homme: surmonter ce qui est inconnu, libérer l’esprit des fausses conceptions afin que l’on puisse recevoir l’une des nombreuses vérités; de tous, celui reconnu car suggéré par l’instinct. Vaincre l’inconnu et en faire son propre moyen d’apprivoiser l’inconnu, de plier les peurs pour qu’elles deviennent force, et là où la connaissance n’arrive pas, l’imagination le fait … Brothers of Light: Quel est le moyen le plus expressif d’un Dieu, ton Dieu ou le mien, si ce n’est de la pure imagination? Garder le miroir de votre esprit propre signifie voir ce cadeau reflété dans toute sa puissance vierge. Mais il est important d’apparaître pour regarder votre bête intérieure, pour l’apprivoiser, et souvent une existence ne suffit pas pour le faire. En nous comprenant, nous comprendrons, en nous aimant, nous nous aimerons. Merci beaucoup de vous joindre à moi sur ce chemin que l’histoire de l’humanité nous a mis: longue, difficile, merveilleuse route.
